Professional societies and awards


Dr. Hanson is a fellow of the IEEE, and a member of URSI Commission B, Sigma Xi, Electromagnetics Academy, and Eta Kappa Nu. He has been an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, and won the 2006 IEEE Sergei Schelkunoff Prize Paper award from the Transactions on Antennas and Propagation. He is serving as AP-S representative on the IEEE Nano Tech Council.
