Ph.D., New York University, 1951 (Field of Study: Organic Chemistry)
Honors: Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physiological Psychology (funded by the Carnegie Foundation, administered by the National Research Council). Award offered to senior investigators trained in other disciplines (place of study at discretion of awardee). I elected to use this fellowship for research and study at: (1) Psychophysiology Laboratory, New York University College of Medicine (1956-57); and (2) Psychological Laboratory, Cambridge University, England (1957-58). Fellow of Acoustical Society of America, American Psychological Association, and American Psychological Society.
